mr darcy...

We've had our first celebrity sighting! Anna saw Mr Darcy (Colin Firth) picking up his dry cleaning at the high street in Chiswick where we live. I'm soooo jealous I didn't see him! Maybe I will before the year is out... (Sorry I don't have a picture of him!)
And Elle Macpherson was also apparently sighted along the high street as well...
I'm in good company...

Oh Mr Darcy! Mr Firth could well live nearby because no one travels too far to the drycleaners ... so Nina when you do manage to bump into him please say hello from me.

Paula.

Oh Wow! Mr Darcy! When you do manage to run into him you must get his signature. You'd better start carrying a sig. journal with you Nina.

I'm very jealous even if you didn't actually see him yourself! Sounds like you're having a great time :-)

Nina, look what I just read!
Keep your eyes peeled in the supermarket!

"Chiswick is to get a new celebritiy resident in the near future when Robbie Williams moves into town.

According to the News of the World Robbie has had it with LA excess and is returning to Britain to be closer to his friend Jonathon Wilkes.

The troubled singer, who has been living in the US for the past five years, is set to move into Wilkes' Chiswick home.

Williams is said to be looking forward to spending time with his closest friend and playing football with the neighbours - Ant and Dec.

A friend of Williams told the sunday newspaper " Robbie is coming home to be close to the people who love him,"

"He wants to have some fun with his friends and concentrate on getting rid of his demons. Some of the best days were back when he lived with Jonathan in their bachelor pad together. He's looking forward to a life of golf and football for a while and being with his mates and family."
