hyde park...

On sunday I chanced the threat of thunderstorms, and took the bus to Hyde Park. It's huge! It took me over 2 hours to walk half of it, and there was so much I didn't see.
But what I did see was really diverse - parts of it was wild and woolly and unkempt, and other bits were so beautiful, full of gardens of flowers. The people were also a motely bunch - I captured a happy snap of Willie Nelson (not really!) lazing with his lady on a bench near the Serpentine lake - I took a million pictures of ducks before I was game enough to take their photo without them knowing!
I went to Speakers Corner - all 4 people on their soap boxes were debating religion with their respective crowds. I didn't go to Kensington Palace, that's for another day...

Hi Neen

I love the pictures. Knowing the person taking the pictures makes you look at them in a different way to looking at the pictures in a travel brochure or paper.

Keep them coming

PS Photo of your bay window?

Loved the park looks great. Big park. You need a few days to walk all of it. maybe even camp there??? Joking!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like you are having a good time visiting all these wonderful places. Maybe if thing doesn't work out at work. You could come a Tour Guide over there. Would be a great job to meet people. Lots of Love from your great cute freind kathryn!! PS hi from Elvis Peter

Hyde Park is just a magical place, I really love the fountains. If you can find and snap the horses that are stabled in the park I'd be very pleased. Apparently you can go riding around a big track around part of the park. Also, across from Speaker's Corner in Marble Arch, where Madonna is supposed to have a pile.
Keep up the good work. Carolyn.
